Training Dates

Training days for NAVHDA happen once a month and provide dedicated opportunities for dog owners to work with volunteer trainers to develop and refine their versatile hunting dogs' skills through a range of exercises and activities, including field work, tracking, water retrieves, and obedience training, all aimed at enhancing your dog's natural abilities and preparing them for versatile hunting tests. Regardless of what level you and your dog are at, there is an opportunity for all skill levels!

Please bring water, leashes and any additional training aides you will require. The club provides use of launchers, zingers, and blinds.   Don't forget chairs, easy-ups, and other items to make you and your dog comfortable.

In addition to a signed liability waiver, everyone must have some form of blaze orange on (even if just a hat).   This includes any children as well as spectators.
